Kirby Brant Farm is a small private facility in southern York County, PA, dedicated to helping people develop/mend/nurture their relationships with their horses.

Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with Post Graduate Studies in Equine Studies from the University of Wales in the UK.

She is currently a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and works in York, PA at the Fertility Center. Lisa's passion for horses has led her through varied careers including riding instructor, manager of TB breeding farms, veterinary assistant, Chief of Animal Control in PG County , MD, and owner/operator of a boarding facility for breeding, foaling, breaking and training and sales prep. She has had the good fortune to enjoy horses through trail riding, fox hunting, dressage, galloping race horses, and western riding. She found Natural Horsemanship about 8 years ago and has been studying all of the clinicians involved in this discipline since.

Lisa has passed her Level 3 Parelli in Freestyle and Liberty, and on line which involved riding bareback and bridleless at all gaits and over jumps as well as playing with a horse at liberty (no halter or ropes) in a large arena as a team doing various exercises.

Lisa's passion for the well being of the horse and the deep bond that comes from her relationships with her equine partners has compelled her to share her knowledge with others. She is available to do clinics, and at times may come to other barns to help with the horse/human relationship.

Much gratitude goes out to Roger, Lisa's husband, who works tirelessly behind the scene to maintain the property and see to the comforts of the horses!
